Chemistry Hall Prentice

Many people are interested in starting their own business, yet have a tough time choosing what it is they want to do. They also realize that once they spend capital getting started that if they attempt to change careers or businesses it will cost them dearly. Currently, many folks in the real estate business are having a tough time getting going again in a new career path, after the real estate credit crunch.

If you are considering starting a business in a real estate related small enterprise I would like to recommend this book to you. Much of its information will seem very familiar to you and it will be quick reading. Indeed, it should help you either reconsider this as a business for you or help you eliminate it from your potential list of future real estate related business considerations:

"Home Inspection Business" by Prentice Hall - 1999. This is part of the Prentice Hall "Start Your Own Series"

Like all books of this type, it asks the reader if indeed, you are cut out to work for yourself as a Small Business Owner, there is also a personality test inside. The book then gets heavy into the business model with start-up considerations, marketing to realtors, home owners, banks and re-finance companies.

The book is very customized for the Home Inspection Business real estate sub-sector, yet it has all the elements that any small business will need to succeed. Some might think that real estate is dead for the next five to six years, but that does not mean there is not money to be made in ancillary services such as Home Inspection Business.
